British Manufacturing Company double turnover by investing in its people

Wheatley Plastics Ltd, a Stockport based Injection Moulding Company, has not only been investing in its machinery but also its people. This has been acknowledged by achieving the ‘Investors In People’ accreditation.

Managing Director, Gary Knight, was delighted to be recognised along with his team.  Since completing an MBO and setting their sights on doubling the turnover through a three-year growth plan, Gary and the team at Wheatley’s have reached this target ahead of schedule. “Breaking through the £1m target by an additional 10% and a year earlier than forecasted is a fantastic achievement and great team effort” said Gary Knight. “We are proud of our culture and the investment in our people has been a key factor in achieving our recent success.”
The Business demonstrates its core values across all its activities, to ensure delivering a consistently high quality of service to its clients. Through knowledge and experience the business has endeavored to embrace the principles of high performance working. This has resulted in a clear vision, mission, strong business planning and achievement of key milestones.
Wheatley Plastics is an example of an organisation which has embraced proven approaches to high performance leadership and management.
The team also continue to host various fundraising events for the local community, supporting the Together Trust to help raise funds and awareness. To date the Company has raised over £3000.
