CHALLENGE
Wheatley Plastics has a long established relationship with RIWA, manufacturing bait boxes for Ecolab. Following the successful sign up of a national pest control contract, Ecolab required a high number of bait boxes within a very short time scale to ensure the successful roll out of the contract for its new client.
SOLUTION
Wheatley Plastics quickly increased output of the bait boxes, planning its production around the immediate requirements of Ecolab’s rollouts. This enabled RIWA to distribute the bait boxes to Ecolab in time to meet the needs of the end client. Ecolab has an ongoing requirement to call off stock on a weekly basis and RIWA is able to meet this need through Wheatley Plastics’ stock holding.
OUTCOME
Wheatley Plastics’ quick turnaround and careful planning ensured that RIWA was able to meet Ecolab’s requirements to successfully roll out the new nationwide contract within the necessary timescales.
