Wheatley Plastics invests in 2 160T Borche Injection Moulding Machines

Wheatley Plastics continues to invest in its manufacturing excellence through the acquisition of two brand new 160T Borche Injection Moulding Machines. This significant investment by Wheatley Plastics is part of our continued growth strategy and will help us meet the plastic manufacturing requirements of both new and existing customers.

By investing in these new machines, Wheatley Plastics is ensuring that our production capabilities are increased, which in turn will lead to greater efficiency. Plus, with these new state of the art injection moulding machines, we predict that we will be able to offer shorter lead times for our customers, due to our increased production capabilities.

As part of the installation process of these machines, we’re also excited to announce that the Campetella Robotic Centre have fitted both these 160T Presses with two new robots, which forms a part of our World Class Manufacturing goal of optimising Wheatley Plastics’ production capabilities and efficiency by reducing all non-value added activities.
